Carrier Delay:
At Sliceworthy, we take immense pride in the quality of every product we offer and endeavor to deliver them in optimal condition on the specified delivery date. While we implement various measures to minimize the risks associated with shipping perishable goods nationwide, there are certain factors beyond our control, such as inclement weather and transit delays once the package is in the hands of our trusted carriers like FedEx or UPS. Therefore, the shipping guidelines outlined on our website serve as guidance rather than guarantees of a precise shipping or arrival date.
Sliceworthy cannot be held responsible for delays in transit caused by factors such as high package volume, adverse weather conditions, mechanical issues, labor strikes, natural disasters, security measures, carrier mis-scans, or inaccurate/incomplete shipping information. Additionally, we do not mandate a signature for the release of any shipment. The decision to leave a package at a particular address rests solely with the individual delivery person and is beyond our control.
Delivery Times:
Please note that Sliceworthy is unable to provide a precise time for delivery, as this is determined by the local carrier's schedule. Typically, carriers deliver packages anytime between 8 am and 10 pm. For orders intended for time-sensitive events, we advise placing your order well in advance and scheduling it to arrive at least two days before your scheduled event. The majority of our products can be safely frozen or refrigerated upon arrival to maintain freshness.
In anticipation of periods with high package volumes, particularly during holidays, or unforeseen circumstances, we may opt to ship your order earlier to ensure its timely arrival and optimal condition. Sliceworthy reserves the right to adjust the scheduled arrival of your order, either earlier or later than estimated, to mitigate any potential delays, based on operational considerations.
Signature Required:
While most packages from Sliceworthy do not require a signature upon delivery, please be aware that products from Tipsy Scoop necessitate an adult signature (21+) for receipt. Sliceworthy cannot be held liable for packages requiring a signature that are undelivered due to the absence of a recipient at the delivery address.
Reroutes:
Customers are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all shipping information prior to finalizing their order and in their order confirmation email. Should you require a modification to the delivery address after your order has been shipped, please note that a $19 address change processing fee will be applicable. Carriers typically require one business day to process address modifications, which may result in a delay to the package's delivery. Sliceworthy cannot be held responsible for any delays in transit arising from address modifications.
Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations:
Please be advised that Sliceworthy does not entertain returns, refunds, or cancellations for any orders that have already been shipped or have entered the fulfillment process. All packages are shipped exclusively via UPS or FedEx, and therefore we are unable to deliver to P.O. Box addresses.
